Netflix is set to premiere the mystery-horror-fantasy series Dead-End Job on October 30, introducing a strange part-time job where an irresistible paycheck comes with a potentially deadly price.
Desperate to escape crushing debt, Hyeok-jun (Lee Jae-wook) discovers a flyer offering an unusually high-paying part-time job. His search leads him to the mysterious Spider Staffing Agency, where workers can earn 50 times the minimum hourly wage under one strict condition: never reveal what happens on the job.
Assigned to what appears to be an ordinary convenience store, Hyeok-jun soon discovers that the seemingly simple work is anything but. Each shift brings a new nightmare, forcing him to confront increasingly dangerous situations where making it through the day could mean staying alive.
Dead-End Job is directed by Kim Da-min, who previously wrote the Netflix series A Killer Paradox. Series creator Han Jun-hee, known for D.P. and Weak Hero Class 2, oversees the overall creative development, while Lee Jae-wook leads a cast that includes Ko Min-si, Kim Min-ha, and Lee Hee-jun.

The series gives viewers a glimpse of Hyeok-jun covered in blood and exhausted amid the wreckage of the convenience store, hinting at the terrifying consequences behind the job’s seemingly unbelievable pay. Meanwhile, Lee Hee-jun’s Spider Staffing Agency head tries to convince the reluctant Hyeok-jun that the opportunity is too good to pass up, only for the job to become a series of grueling and dangerous ordeals.
Dead-End Job premieres October 30, only on Netflix.
