Security Bank Corporation (PSE: SECB) has been recognized as the highest-ranked Philippine company in TIME and Statista’s World’s Best Companies 2026, placing the Bank among the top 1,000 companies worldwide.
The global ranking evaluates companies based on three key areas: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency. The recognition highlights Security Bank’s continued progress in strengthening its business, fostering an engaged workforce, and advancing responsible and sustainable growth.
Now in its fourth edition, the World’s Best Companies ranking combines financial performance data, employee feedback gathered through large-scale surveys across countries and industries, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) indicators.
“Being the highest-ranked Philippine company is a meaningful recognition of the progress we’re making,” said Victor Lee, President and CEO of Security Bank. “It reflects the strength of our business, the commitment of our people, and the trust our clients place in us. As we look ahead, our focus remains clear: execute our strategy, grow responsibly, and deliver BetterBanking experiences for our customers.”
Employee satisfaction is a key component of the ranking, reflecting feedback from employees across different markets and industries. For Security Bank, the recognition also underscores its focus on creating an environment where employees can grow and succeed.
“What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that our people helped shape it,” said Nerissa Berba, Chief People Officer of Security Bank. “Our ‘You Matter’ employee value proposition guides how we support our people’s growth, well-being, and success. When our people thrive, our customers and our business benefit too.”
Sustainability transparency accounts for one-third of the overall assessment, covering companies’ ESG performance and disclosures. Security Bank also maintains an MSCI ESG Rating of ‘A’, reflecting its continued focus on responsible business practices, transparency, and long-term value creation.
“Strong performance and responsible growth must go together,” said John David Yap, Chief Financial Officer and Sustainability Committee Chairman of Security Bank. “This recognition reinforces the progress we are making in governance, transparency and sustainability, and in embedding these into how we manage risk, allocate capital and build long-term value.”
Security Bank’s recognition as the No. 1 Philippine company in the 2026 ranking comes as the Bank celebrates its 75th anniversary, marking another milestone in its BetterBanking journey and its continued commitment to customers, employees, and sustainable growth.
