Disney+ has unveiled the key art and premiere details for FX’s American Horror Story: 13 (AHS: 13), giving fans a first look at the latest chapter of the acclaimed horror anthology series. The new installment brings back several fan-favorite characters, including Constance Langdon, Cordelia Goode, Madison Montgomery, Marie Laveau, Rubber Man, Twisty the Clown, and Kai Anderson, alongside other surprises.
Featuring 13 half-hour episodes, AHS: 13 premieres exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, September 25 at 9 a.m. Premiere week and the second week will each feature three episodes, followed by two episodes every Friday until the 13th and final episode arrives on October 30, just in time for Halloween.
The 13th installment features an all-star cast led by Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, and Jessica Lange.
They are joined by Avantika, Jamie Brewer, Elle Chapman, Berto Colon, Alex Consani, Frances Conroy, Mat Fraser, Seth Gabel, Orlando Jones, Paul Anthony Kelly, John Carroll Lynch, Tig Notaro, Madelaine Petsch, Fedor Steer, Mena Suvari, Zach Villa, John Waters, and more.
Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Story returns for its 13th installment, continuing the franchise’s legacy of reinventing horror through distinct stories, characters, and settings. Since its debut in 2011, the series has earned more than 100 Emmy nominations and accumulated more than 700 million hours streamed globally.
The franchise has explored a wide range of terrifying worlds, from a haunted murder house and a coven of witches to a traveling freak show, a sinister hotel, and an apocalyptic future. AHS: 13 continues that tradition by bringing together familiar faces and iconic characters while introducing new horrors for viewers to discover.
American Horror Story is an award-winning franchise credited with helping redefine the modern limited-series format and remains the longest-running hour-long series in FX history.
Alongside Murphy and Falchuk, Ned Martel and Charlie Carver serve as executive producers for the new installment, joined by Eric Kovtun, Nissa Diederich, Scott Robertson, Tanase Popa, Crystle Roberson Dorsey, Jennifer Salt, and Tim Minear. The series is produced by 20th Television.
