Rising Kapamilya P-pop group WRIVE celebrated a major milestone with a sold-out first anniversary fan event, “WRIVE: Unang Taon,” bringing together their loyal supporters, known as Arrows, for an unforgettable afternoon of music, games, and gratitude.
“Reaching our first anniversary is an incredible milestone, and we owe it to every Arrow who has believed in and supported us from the very beginning,” shared the five-member group composed of Asi, Drei, Ishiro, Mathew, and Russu.
The celebration featured performances that reflected WRIVE’s journey over the past year. The group performed their pre-debut original track, “Hollywood,” followed by a heartfelt rendition of “Panaginip Na Lang.” They also had the crowd on its feet with an energetic mash-up of their songs, as fans sang along and cheered throughout the show. Many Arrows even traveled from different parts of the Philippines and overseas to celebrate the special occasion with the group.
The members also showcased their individual talents through special performances. Drei and Ishiro delivered a smooth rendition of CxM’s “Worth It,” while Asi, Mathew, and Russu turned up the energy with their performance of Parokya ni Edgar’s “Bagsakan,” earning loud applause from the audience.
The anniversary celebration extended online as WRIVE trended on X in the Philippines during their anniversary week, fueled by fans using the hashtags #WEARR1VENOW, #OohLaWRIVESaShowtime, and #WRIVEUnangTaonLIVE.
Managed by ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Polaris-Star Magic, WRIVE debuted in July 2025 and released their self-titled debut album in January 2026. The album has since surpassed 730,000 all-time streams, reflecting the group’s growing fanbase and momentum.
Keeping the excitement going, WRIVE is set to release its reimagined version of Gloc-9’s “Sumayaw Ka” this August, offering fans a fresh take on the iconic hit. The group will also join the Star Magic All-Star Games on August 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where they are set to perform alongside some of the country’s biggest stars.
