Tayo Lang ang Nakakaalam (Only We Know), directed by David Corpuz, is one of the finalists in the Cinemalaya 2026 Full-Length Category. The drama follows Neil and Bong, long-term partners whose lives are turned upside down when Bong suddenly falls seriously ill, forcing their family to confront unresolved conflicts, strained relationships, and the meaning of unconditional love.
As Neil balances caring for Bong while keeping up with work, Bong’s mother Gloria remains steadfast by her son’s side, while his estranged father Benjie attempts to reconnect after years of absence. Faced with uncertainty, the three must set aside their differences and come together for the person they all love.
The film stars Martin del Rosario, Miguel Odron, Yayo Aguila, Epy Quizon, Mads Nicolas, Bodjie Pascua, Bong Cabrera, Adrian Lindayag, and Nour Hooshmand.
Corpuz is a filmmaker and educator who currently serves as Dean of the School of Multimedia and Digital Arts at Mapúa University. A Carlos Palanca Memorial Award for Literature and Gawad CCP para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video recipient, he previously competed in Cinemalaya with the Special Jury Prize-winning short film The Ordinary Things We Do (2014) and the full-length finalist Kusina (2016). The screenplay is written by David Corpuz and Iar Arondaing.

The Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival 2026 runs from August 6 to 18, with screenings at Red Carpet Cinemas at Shangri-La Plaza, selected Ayala Malls, and Gateway Cineplex.
