Taking the stage at the Theatre at Solaire on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 8 p.m., the concert reunites Ice Seguerra, Sitti, Nyoy Volante, Kean Cipriano, Princess Velasco, and Juris for an evening built around the songs that soundtracked a generation’s first loves, heartbreaks, barkada road trips, and late-night drives. Unlike a typical reunion concert or soundtrack showcase, Sessionistas: The Playlist explores something more enduring than nostalgia. These songs never really disappeared—they’ve remained on playlists, radio rotations, karaoke sessions, and quiet moments, becoming a constant backdrop to people’s lives. Rather than revisiting old favorites, the show reminds audiences why those songs continue to resonate today.
Instead of following musical genres, the concert unfolds through emotional chapters: the Kilig Playlist, Broken Playlist, Barkada Playlist, and Healing Playlist. Each segment captures a different stage of life’s journey, turning the performance into something that feels as much like a personal story as it does a concert.
“Right now, everyone’s in their nostalgia era,” says Liza Diño, producer, creative director of the concert, and CEO of Fire & Ice Entertainment. “We wanted to lean all the way into that. These are the songs that built us. But the thing people realize when they’re actually in the room is that it’s not just nostalgia—it’s not a song you used to feel something for. It’s a song you still do. That’s the part of the show I’m most excited for people to feel.”
Part of what makes the lineup compelling is the diversity of its artists. Ice Seguerra brings the songs that defined a generation’s coming-of-age. Sitti’s signature bossa nova sound recalls quiet Sunday mornings and cozy café playlists. Nyoy Volante and Juris deliver the heartfelt ballads audiences still know by heart, while Kean Cipriano injects a rock edge that keeps the energy dynamic. Princess Velasco completes the ensemble with a powerful voice made for soaring, crowd-wide sing-alongs.
“It shouldn’t work on paper,” Diño says of the lineup, “but once they’re onstage together, it makes perfect sense.” That unlikely chemistry is exactly what Sessionistas: The Playlist aims to showcase.
Fans can also look forward to more performances beyond the August 22 show. Duncan Ramos is set to join the Sessionistas roster in future runs, with Fire & Ice Entertainment already teasing additional dates.
