GMA Prime’s action-drama series Taskforce Firewall continues to keep viewers invested with its gripping cybercrime cases and emotionally charged character arcs, proving that the battle against online crimes is just as personal as it is dangerous.
This week, Team Firewall faces another challenging case involving children who mysteriously disappear after participating in online gaming activities. As Isa (Kylie Padilla) and the team race against time to solve the case, tensions continue to rise in her personal life. Despite Martin’s (Luis Hontiveros) efforts to repair their marriage, Isa remains determined to stand by her decision, leading to another emotional confrontation between the estranged couple.

For Kylie, the pivotal scene carried extra significance because she was given the opportunity to help shape it alongside director Rico Gutierrez and the show’s writers.
“Direk Rico and the writers of Taskforce Firewall respectfully invite our input as actors. I have always loved to write; I just recently came from Ricky Lee’s writing workshop. So, to have a chance to co-write a scene has been a dream come true,” Kylie shared.
The actress said the collaborative environment behind the series has become one of the most fulfilling aspects of working on Taskforce Firewall. She appreciates how the creative team values the cast’s insights, allowing everyone to contribute to making each scene more authentic.
Kylie also spoke about her dynamic with co-star Miguel Tanfelix, who plays Galo, revealing that their partnership has been one of the show’s pleasant surprises.

“Our onscreen chemistry was a surprise for me as well. But I really find Isa and Galo’s dynamic charming. Their friendship and buddy-cop relationship is not loud, but you know they have each other’s back,” she said.
She added that portraying a strong friendship built on trust rather than romance has made Isa and Galo’s relationship especially meaningful. Off-camera, Kylie shared that the supportive atmosphere among the cast has made filming enjoyable despite the demanding action sequences and emotionally intense scenes.
Joining Kylie and Miguel in the ensemble cast are Jak Roberto, Kyline Alcantara, Cheska Fausto, and Buboy Villar.
Directed by Rico Gutierrez with associate director Mark Kevin De Vela, Taskforce Firewall airs weeknights at 8:55 p.m. after The Master Cutter on GMA Prime, Heart of Asia, and online via Kapuso Stream and GMA Play, with a delayed telecast on GTV at 10:30 p.m. Global viewers can also watch the series on GMA Pinoy TV.
