Security Bank Corporation is expanding its footprint in Northern Luzon with the opening of new branches in San Carlos, Pangasinan and Candon, Ilocos Sur, bringing its BetterBanking services closer to more Filipino communities.

The expansion reinforces the Bank’s commitment to supporting households, entrepreneurs, and local businesses in key growth areas where agriculture, commerce, and enterprise continue to fuel economic activity.

At the opening of the San Carlos, Pangasinan branch were Security Bank executives and guests, including Rommel Victorio Domingo, Area Channel Manager; Popo Cabuay, San Carlos City Administrator; Ferdie Uy, FVP and Region Head; Leslie Cham, EVP and Branch Banking Group Head; Rolly Uson, lessor and owner of Arlu Commercial; Arjiman Uson, owner of Arjiman Leasing; Josefa Lopez, owner of Kevin’s Balong Restaurant; Hon. Joseres “Bogs” Resuello, Vice Mayor of San Carlos City; Jerry Calibuso, VP and Area Head; Maidy Soriano, SAVP and Cluster Head and Business Manager, OIC of the San Carlos branch; and Ronald Austria, SVP and Luzon Distribution Head.

The San Carlos branch is positioned to serve Pangasinan’s thriving local economy, which is driven by agriculture and expanding commercial activity. Meanwhile, the Candon branch enhances access to banking services in Ilocos Sur, a growing center for trade and enterprise.

“For us, BetterBanking means making banking simpler and faster while staying close to our customers,” said Leslie Cham, EVP and Branch Banking Group Head at Security Bank. “These new branches combine digitally enabled services with the trust and personal connection that remain essential in communities where relationships are central to doing business.”

The move reflects Security Bank’s continued investment in emerging growth corridors outside major urban centers, where increasing economic activity is driving demand for accessible and dependable financial services.

With 389 branches nationwide, Security Bank continues to strengthen customer experience through a combination of branch expansion and digital innovation, making banking more seamless, secure, and convenient for individuals and businesses across the country.

Through in-branch assistance, everyday banking transactions, and digital banking solutions, the Bank continues to make BetterBanking more accessible wherever customers live, work, and grow.
