Donny Pangilinan is staying with EastWest. East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) has officially renewed its partnership with the actor and digital personality, extending his role as brand ambassador for another year as the bank continues its push to connect with younger Filipinos through easier, more accessible banking experiences.
Together, EastWest and Pangilinan aim to make banking more relevant to today’s generation by highlighting the EastWest app, introducing new products and services, and creating meaningful conversations both online and within communities nationwide.
“Donny doesn’t just reach young Filipinos, he connects with them,” said Martin Reyes, EastWest Chief Marketing and Cash Management Officer. “We want this generation to see EastWest as their bank, one that understands what they need, whether it’s a better app experience, products that fit their lifestyle, or banking that simply feels less complicated. Donny tells that story better than anyone.”

As brand ambassador, Pangilinan will continue to lead campaigns for the EastWest app while spotlighting upcoming products and services across digital platforms and nationwide activations. The partnership reflects EastWest’s commitment to meeting younger customers where they are, on their phones, on social media, and within the communities they engage with every day.
“Honestly, what keeps me here is that EastWest is always working on something — improving the app, enhancing digital payments, launching new products and services, and finding ways to connect with people directly,” Pangilinan shared. “For a lot of people my age, banking still feels intimidating or complicated. I genuinely want to help change that, and with EastWest, I feel like we actually can.”
For Pangilinan, continuing the partnership was an easy decision. He described EastWest as a bank that consistently evolves through investments in digital platforms, branch expansion, and practical customer-focused solutions designed to make banking simpler and more convenient.
“I think young Filipinos should take banking seriously. Banks just need to meet them halfway,” he added. “EastWest is doing that, and I’m proud to be part of telling that story.”
Beyond digital campaigns, Pangilinan will also participate in EastWest events and activations across key cities nationwide, helping introduce customers to the bank’s products, services, and digital tools through face-to-face engagement.
“I’m excited to get out there and actually talk to people, not just post about it,” Pangilinan said. “Show them the app, walk them through products, answer questions they didn’t even know they could ask. That’s the kind of thing that really makes a difference.”
With Pangilinan returning as brand ambassador, EastWest moves forward with a clear goal: to become the bank younger Filipinos choose, trust, and continue coming back to by making banking feel simpler, smarter, and more approachable.
