NUSTAR Online recently hosted a series of special block screenings for the highly anticipated Philippine film Sisa. The screenings shows NUSTAR Online’s commitment to supporting local cinema and providing a platform for films that showcase Filipino culture and storytelling.
The block screenings took place on March 14 and 15, with a total of five special showings across multiple locations. Two screenings were held at Gateway Cineplex 18, while other venues included SM City Sta. Mesa Cinema, SM Aura Cinema, and Robinsons Magnolia Cinema. The events were attended by film enthusiasts, media representatives, supporters of the cast and crew, and Ms. Krizia Cortez, PR Director of NUSTAR Online, who was present to welcome guests and engage with attendees. NUSTAR Online is also one of the major partners of The IdeaFirst Company, supporting the promotion and reach of local films.

Sisa is written and directed by Jun Robles Lana, serves as a significant cinematic comeback for screen icon Hilda Koronel. Set against the turbulent backdrop of the Philippine-American War, the film features a talented ensemble including Eugene Domingo, Jennica Garcia, Tanya Gomez, Angellie Sanoy, Barbara Miguel, Romnick Sarmenta, and Nico Antonio. Sisa is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
