This Heart Month, Bell-Kenz Pharma reinforces its role as a Kaagapay sa Kalusugan by intensifying its Sagip CPR (Hands-Only CPR) campaign through a series of nationwide training rollouts. Branded as “Pintig ng Pinas,” the initiative brings life-saving education to communities across Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Bicol, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Hands-Only CPR emphasizes continuous chest compressions to sustain blood flow during cardiac arrest until professional medical assistance arrives. Widely recommended for cardiac emergencies, this method has gained broader acceptance in recent years because it eliminates the need for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Immediate action is critical, especially within the first four minutes of cardiac arrest, when timely CPR can significantly improve survival chances.
The February rollout kicked off in Nabua, Camarines Sur; Polangui, Albay; Malabon; Iloilo; Roxas City, Capiz; and Bulacan. Succeeding sessions are scheduled in General Santos City (Feb. 14), Tarlac and North Cotabato (Feb. 20), Antique (Feb. 22), Marikina (Feb. 23), PITX in Parañaque (Feb. 24), Pangasinan (Feb. 27), and Aklan (Feb. 28).
In collaboration with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Bell-Kenz is bringing Sagip CPR directly to transport frontliners, strengthening emergency preparedness in high-traffic public spaces and equipping personnel with practical, life-saving skills.

“Being a Kaagapay sa Kalusugan means going beyond providing medicines. We help foster preparedness,” said Dr. Luis Raymond T. Go, Medical Director of Bell-Kenz Pharma. “In most cardiac emergencies, the first responder isn’t a doctor. It’s a family member, colleague, or bystander. We want more Filipinos to feel confident stepping in during those crucial first minutes.”
Beyond community sessions, the company is expanding CPR education into everyday public settings, recognizing that emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere.

“Preparedness becomes meaningful when it’s integrated into daily life,” Dr. Go added. “By reaching both communities and public spaces, we increase the likelihood of immediate response, especially in those first critical minutes when CPR can sustain life until help arrives.”
Since launching in August 2025, Sagip CPR has trained thousands of students, educators, parents, uniformed personnel, local government staff, and community volunteers, empowering ordinary Filipinos with a simple yet vital skill. Bell-Kenz aims to train one million Filipinos in Hands-Only CPR, strengthening the nation’s first line of defense against cardiac emergencies.
