The first teaser trailer for “Supergirl” has officially been released, giving audiences a thrilling look at the newest chapter in the DC cinematic universe. The film is set to soar into Philippine cinemas on June 24, 2026, marking one of the most anticipated superhero releases of the year.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, known for his work on “Cruella” and “I, Tonya,” the film stars Milly Alcock, who rose to fame through the hit series “House of the Dragon.” Alcock takes on the iconic role of Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl. The film is produced by DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran, bringing together a formidable creative team and a strong ensemble cast that includes Matthias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz, Eve Ridley, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.
The story centers on Kara Zor-El as she confronts a ruthless threat that strikes dangerously close to home.
