The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) officially announces Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4: Oh Sh*t! It’s Live Sa Cheter!, the newest live theatrical installment of the hit “Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank” franchise. The production will run from June 19 to August 16, 2026 at the PETA Theater Center.
After two blockbuster films and a successful series, the franchise makes its long-awaited leap from screen to stage. Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4 brings the beloved satirical universe into live theater, promising a sharp, chaotic, and hilarious look at how Philippine theater is made, from its creative triumphs to its behind-the-scenes challenges.
According to the official synopsis, the show delivers a meta-comedy about ego, art, and the realities of staging theater in the Philippines. It explores everything from venue issues and ticket pricing to industry trends, Broadway influences, and the shifting landscape of local theater, from past to present to the imagined future.

Eugene Domingo returns to portray the role only she can play: herself. She will be joined by an ensemble of theater practitioners portraying versions of themselves, adding another layer to the show’s self-aware, industry-wide commentary.
Serving as the franchise’s most daring evolution yet, the production integrates PETA’s signature style: entertainment combined with incisive cultural and social critique. Audiences can expect a high-energy, thought-provoking experience that mirrors the unpredictable world of real theater-making.
Known for major hits such as Rak of Aegis, Walang Aray, and the stage adaptation of One More Chance, PETA is poised to deliver another landmark production. The show is written by Chris Martinez and directed by Maribel Legarda, marking a new milestone in the Septic Tank universe, bigger, bolder, and more meta than ever.
Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 4 is co-presented by Metrobank, PETA’s official bank partner for 2026. Metrobank credit cardholders will receive first access to tickets during an exclusive presale in the first quarter of 2026.
