Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies have released the film’s newest trailer, promising a wild, hilarious, and larger-than-life journey that fans of all ages will not want to miss.
Billed as SpongeBob’s biggest cinematic event yet, the movie follows everyone’s favorite sponge as he sets out to prove he is braver than anyone thinks. Hoping to show Mr. Krabs he is a true “big guy,” SpongeBob takes on an unexpected challenge by pursuing the legendary Flying Dutchman, a mysterious ghost pirate feared across the deep sea. What begins as a simple plan to earn respect soon turns into a chaotic seafaring quest that pulls SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends into uncharted waters where no sponge has ever gone before.
“The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants” is presented by Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies, in association with Domain Entertainment and MRC. The film is produced by Lisa Stewart, Pam Brady, and Aaron Dem, and is based on the hit series created by Stephen Hillenburg. Derek Drymon directs the all-new underwater adventure.
