Rising artist Shawn Crab dives deep into the complexities of young love through her latest back-to-back singles “Tago” and “Ang Labo.”
In “Tago,” Shawn explores the tension between desire and hesitation, the longing to confess one’s feelings while being held back by fear. Meanwhile, “Ang Labo” captures the frustration of navigating mixed signals and uncertain emotions, painting an honest picture of love’s confusing side.

Both tracks were written by Shawn herself and produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.
Earlier this year, the 16-year-old Kapamilya singer-songwriter made her StarPop debut with “Love Has Come My Way.” Born in San Francisco, Shawn moved to the Philippines to pursue her passion for music. She began playing piano at 10 and writing her own songs by 11, drawing inspiration from artists like Billie Eilish, Frank Ocean, and Clairo. Her music serves as an emotional diary, raw, relatable, and deeply personal.
Experience the thrill and confusion of young love with Shawn Crab’s “Tago” and “Ang Labo,” now available on all major streaming platforms.
