ABS-CBN Film Restoration’s Sagip Pelikula brings back two beloved Star Cinema classics to the big screen as Magic Temple and Hiling screen exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas on May 7.
Magic Temple, directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes, is a fantasy-adventure that follows three boys—Jubal, Sambag, and Omar—on a quest to the Magic Temple to restore the world’s balance. Their journey is filled with magical trials and lessons about friendship and bravery. The film stars Jason Salcedo, Junell Hernando, Marc Solis, Anna Larrucea, Jun Urbano, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Gina Pareño.
Also showing is Hiling, a heartwarming film by José Javier Reyes. It tells the story of Anna, played by Camille Prats, who discovers on her birthday that she has the power to grant wishes with a single touch. The cast includes Shaina Magdayao, Serena Dalrymple, Gina Pareño, Nida Blanca, Tirso Cruz III, Cherry Pie Picache, Paolo Contis, and Carlo Aquino.
