Airing every Saturday and Sunday at 5:30 p.m., 24 Oras Weekend is anchored by award-winning broadcast journalists Pia Arcangel and Ivan Mayrina, alongside Chika Minute segment host Nelson Canlas. For 15 years, the program has been at the forefront of public service, reinforcing GMAIN’s commitment to “Mas malaking misyon, mas malawak na paglilingkod sa bayan.”

In 2024, 24 Oras Weekend solidified its position as the top weekend news program, following 24 Oras as the country’s overall number-one news show. According to Nielsen TV Audience Measurement data from January to December 2024, the program recorded a combined GMA/GTV/Pinoy Hits people rating of 6.7% in Total Philippines (Urban and Rural combined), significantly outperforming Frontline Pilipinas Weekend with 1.8% and TV Patrol Weekend with 1.1%.
Blending hard-hitting news with engaging infotainment, 24 Oras Weekend offers inspiring stories, heartwarming features, and lighthearted segments for the perfect weekend viewing experience. “Saan Tayo” highlights must-visit destinations across the country, while “Good Vibes” spreads positivity with uplifting stories. “Weekend Do This” suggests fun activities for weekend getaways, while “Kita Mo!” provides practical financial tips and earning opportunities. “Usapang Pets” features heartwarming pet stories and valuable pet care advice.
As it celebrates its 15th year, 24 Oras Weekend will expand its coverage of food, health and fitness, sports, and technology, providing deeper insights into the latest trends. Pia Arcangel shares that viewers can expect the same balanced and truthful news reporting, plus even more exciting segments on food, travel, and new adventures—everything that makes weekends special. Ivan Mayrina adds that while GMA Integrated News remains committed to the highest standards in journalism, the team is also evolving across platforms to reach audiences in new ways.
