Acer Day is more than just a celebration; it’s an affirmation of the values that Acer holds dear. Each year, Acer Day serves as a platform for the brand to connect with its customers and showcase the latest innovations designed to enhance user experiences. These products are crafted to unlock untapped potential, enabling individuals to achieve more and push beyond their limits.
The theme for Acer Day 2024, “AI’m Limitless,” perfectly captures this spirit of exploration and empowerment. With a vast range of PCs and lifestyle products, Acer aims to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and explore new possibilities in technology and life.
On August 4, 2024, all roads led to the MOA Arena for the much-anticipated Acer Day concert. The event was headlined by Acer ambassadors SB19, Sandara Park, and G22, with additional performances by Cup of Joe, TJ Monterde, Ebe Dancel, and Rico Blanco. Hosted by Luis Manzano, the concert drew an audience of over 20,000 people, both on-site and online via a Facebook livestream.
“Acer Day helps connect us with our customers through music and various activities that allow them to experience our products firsthand,” said Sue Ong Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines. “These tools enable individuals to explore limitless possibilities and bring their ideas to life.”
The concert kicked off with a high-energy performance from pop/alternative band Cup of Joe, who set the tone with their hits “Wag na Lang,” “Tingin,” and “Estranghero.” This was followed by singer-songwriter TJ Monterde, who captivated the audience with his soulful renditions of “Mahika,” “Tulad Mo,” and “Palagi.”
OPM icon Ebe Dancel continued to elevate the atmosphere with his beloved hits, including “Hari ng Sablay,” “Makita Kang Muli,” “Wag Kang Umiyak,” and “Bawat Daan.” He took a moment to reflect on how Acer supported artists like him during the pandemic, providing opportunities when live performances were scarce.
The night reached new heights when international superstar Sandara Park and P-pop group G22 took the stage. Their electrifying performance of “In or Out” was followed by a collaborative rendition of “Reset” with SB19, a song they had worked on together for Acer in 2023. G22, known as the “Female Alphas of P-pop,” kept the energy high with their hits, and Sandara maintained the momentum with her iconic performances.
Finally, SB19, known as the “Kings of P-pop,” closed the night with a powerful set that included “Gento,” “Hanggang sa Huli,” and “Crimzone.” They also introduced an unreleased track, “Kalakal,” featuring rapper Gloc 9. The grand finale saw SB19 and G22 unite for “Limitless,” the theme song of Acer Day 2024, composed by SB19 leader Pablo, embodying the concert’s theme and Acer’s vision of limitless potential.
