Former “Idol Philippines” contestant and iDolls member Matty J shares a story of heartbreak and forgiveness in his latest single “Moving On,” an anthemic track that underscores self-love following a painful experience on love.

The song, penned by Matty five years ago, was inspired from the trauma of someone who felt worthless but eventually attained the catharsis he deserves as the main character of his own story. It was co-written and produced by Star Pop head Rox Santos.

Matty won the Awit Awards Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist with his first single, “Sayaw Ng Mga Tala,” in 2021.
