After being captivated by the phenomenal Korean version of Doctor Foster, The World of the Married, ABS-CBN partners with BBC Studios to create a Philippine adaptation of the remarkable drama suspense series. The Philippine title will The Broken Marriage Vow and will be directed by Connie Macatuno.
The story will follow the story of the Ilustre and how infidelity shaken their relationship with each other and how the matriarch will be fighting back for her family.
Joining the cast members are Zaijian Jaranilla as Gio Ilustre (The Son), Sue Ramirez as Lexy Lucero (The Other Woman), as Zanjoe Marudo as David Ilustre (The Husband) and of course, Jodi Sta. Maria will be playing Dr. Jill Ilustre.
Aside from Korean version of The World of the Married, other adaptation includes Infidele (France), Tell Truth (Russia), Out of Love (India) and Unfaithful (Turkey).
ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment Inc will start the production very soon.
