It was a tough day for the former The Voice of the Philippines S2 runner-up Alisah Bonaobra to go though again with the process of a talent reality show and this time far from her hometown. Alisah after surviving her overwhelming audition of the The X Factor UK together with other Filipinos JBK boy group, Elyza V. and Gaga Lord, all of them moved to the Bootcamp where they join other aspiring contenders vying to be part of the judges’ team.
In the bootcamp, Alisah and Gaga Lord were teammates together with Rai-Elle Williams and Natalie Lomax. They performed Mariah Carey’s We Belong Together. Only Rai-Elle was selected to move to the next round of the competition. Alisah begged Simon Cowell for another chance and cried. Nicole Scherzinger who instantly found connection with her since the audition tried to comfort her. Alisah quickly sang a line from We Belong Tongether that caught Simon attention and later decided to give her a chance.
Immediately in the same episode of The X Factor UK, Alisah returned and performed Defying Gravity that receives overwhelming performance from the crowd. She receives standing ovation from Nicole and Sharon Osborne.
The judges confirmed that she is moving the 6 Chair Challenge of The X Factor UK. From the last seasons of the show Ivy Grace Paredes and The 4th Impact were the Filipino acts that luckily passed that round.
