Few hours before the Star Magic Ball, McCoy de Leon took advantage with his production number with his fellow Hashtags with GirlTrends to ask Elisse Joson to be his date in Star Magic Ball. When Vice Ganda start asking everyone about their gowns, date and preparation, McCoy shared that he wanted his princess, pertaining to Elisse to be his date at the ball but he hasn’t asked Elisse’s mother for permission.
Live on It’s Showtime, McCoy asked Christine Joson’s permission if he can bring Elisse in the Star Magic Ball. Mommy Christine said yes but immediately Elisse said that McCoy didn’t asked him yet.
That’s why McCoy asked her with the help of the McLisse supporters. With that sweet gesture, Elisse said yes to McCoy to be her date at the Star Magic Ball 2016.
Aside from McLisse, Xian Lim did the same gesture to be Kim Chiu’s date at the annual ball.
