Earlier today (May 12), Vice President candidate and the running mate of Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano conceded to Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo. He acknowledged Robredo as the next Vice President of the Philippines whereas she is leading the poll with 96% of the votes already tallied. He addresses fellow candidates that they should respect the people’s will.
Cayetano, calls for healing and unification of the country as he echoes the message of his running mate and soon to be PH President Rodrigo Duterte. He promised that he will be supporting Duterte at the same time he is trusting Leni that she will be supporting Duterte’s agenda in the Philippines. Cayetano ranked third in the current poll whereas Senator Bongbong Marcos ranked second. Read Cayetano’s statement below:
Aside from Cayetano, Gobyernong May Puso VP candidate and running mate of Senator Grace Poe, Senator Chiz Escudero already conceded last May 10 but he haven’t mention to whom he conceded with. But Escudero hopes that the Bicola candidate Robrade will win the VP race.
