After 4 years, the singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid releases his latest album with Universal Records entitled Ikaw Ang Buhay Ko. In the blog conference for his latest album, Ogie shared that he ka dedicating this for his wife Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez who is married with him for almost 5 years. According to him that his family is his inspiration and his life including God for giving him all the blessings in life.
The carrier single “Ikaw Ang Buhay Ko”, was first heard in her show in TV5 called “The Mega And The Songwriter” and he said that they changed the lyrics and dedicated to Regine. Aside from the song, he wrote five mores to celebrate his 5th anniversary with his wife. Songs he wrote include “Habang Buhay (Saranghaeyo)”, “I Love You”, Ikaw Ang Pangarap Ko”, “The Lord Is Our Saviour” with Regine.
He also included five remakes including “Hawak Kamay”, “Hanggang”, “Tanging Yaman”, “Iingatan Ka” and “Pag-ibig”.
The album is available in all record stores nationwide for only Php 300 also on digital downloads via iTunes, Amazon and Spinnr and streaming on Deezer.
