After the breath-taking and “kilig” bridal shower episode of On The Wings Of Love last January 11, whereas James Reid who plays the role of Clark dresses up as a policeman and dances in front of Nadine Lustre who plays the role of Leah. The two characters are a couple and will be married soon. The episode trended and received positive comments from the viewers and supporters except that some were offended concerning that Clark is wearing a police uniform and dancing sexy.
In regards with the episode, On The Wings of Love and ABS-CBN issued official statement and say sorry for those who are offended. In the official statement released last Jan. 13 it says:
“On the Wings of Love” would like to apologize for a short scene that aired last Monday (January 11), which unfortunately showed the main character Clark dancing as a policeman for Leah in her bridal shower. The program has called the attention of its production team and assures the public that there was no intention to disrespect the sanctity of the Philippine National Police (PNP) uniform. We do not want to jeopardize our good relations with the PNP and will make sure that it will not happen again.
On The Wings Of Love airs on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida after Pangako Sa’Yo.
