From being “hurados” and guest co-hosts in It’s Showtime, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and Amy Perez officially join the growing family of the noontime show. They are joining Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia, Karylle, Kim Atienza and many more. The said announcement was done in live show of It’s Showtime in January 2, 2016.
Being part of the noontime show is not new to Amy and Mariel, Amy started her hosting gig Family Kuarta o Kahon in1987 to 1990. She became noontime host in ABS-CBN’s Sa Linggo nAPO Sila, ‘Sang Linggo nAPO Sila, ASAP and Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB). She transferred to other stations and decided to return in the Kapamilya network as host in The Singing Bee and Umagang Kay Ganda last 2013.
Meanwhile, Mariel started her hosting career in ABS-CBN in Pinoy Big Brother in 2005 until 2010. She became one of the hosts of Wowowee, Pilipinas Win Na Win and Happy Yipee Yehey! before she transferred in other station. She returned in ABS-CBN in 2014 as It’s Showtime Hurado and in Pinoy Big Brother 737.
It’s Showtime airs from Monday to Saturday in ABS-CBN.
