After the Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo became the winner of the 2014 MTV EMA Best Southeast Asia Act, Philippines once again is on the race for said category for this year. Representing the Philippines is On The Wings Of Love actor James Reid which he will be competing with Faizal Tahir (Malaysia), NOAH (Indonesia), Slot Machine (Thailand), Son Tung M-TP (Vietnam), and The Sam Willows (Singapore).
The voting for the next Best Southeast Asia Act for 2015 MTV EMA will happen soon but MTV is looking for the seventh act to join the said category and from the Philippines it will be Nadine Lustre, James’ leading lady on On The Wings Of Love. To vote for her just tweet “#MTVEMA #NominateNadineLustre” and it will be until September 14, at 11:59PM Singapore Time.
Other nominees for the seventh slot include Afgan (Indonesia), Akim & The Majistret (Malaysia), Gentle Bones (Singapore), and Thaitanium (Thailand). Wildcard winners and nominees in all 2015 MTV EMA categories will be announced on 15 September at 8pm Singapore time, and voting will open on mtvema.com.
