In the opening number of ASAP 20 earlier this afternoon, maintays incuding Billy Crawford, Bamboo, Gary Valenciano, Enrique Gil and others impersonate music icons through songs and dance moves with Your Face Sounds Familiar theme. With the iconizer booth present on stage it also signifies the grand welcome of the champion of the reality show Melai Cantiveros who performed Miley Cyrus in the grand showdown last June 5 and 6 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
Melai, reprises her character as Miley Cyrus in full costume and make-up including her trending performance Wrecking Ball. With her sledgehammer walking on the ASAP 20 stage she goes in the center to ride her wrecking ball and swings above the audience.
In the Grand Showdown of Your Face Sounds Familiar, Nyoy Volante ranked 2nd, Jay-R landed 3rd and on the 4th place Edgar Allan Guzman.
