With 42 points, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco finally wins the Your Face Sounds Familiar weekly challenge for week 9 after her Waray Waray performance of the Queen of Pinoy Rock Elizabeth Ramsey. Melai became a runaway winner of the week when she got all 8 points from the jury members Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano and Jed Madela. Meanwhile, almost all of her fellow celebrity members including Edgar Allan Guzman, Tutti Caringal, Maxene Magalona, Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal and Nyoy Volante gave their 3 points to her. Jay-R gave his 3 points to Tutti and Melai gave her points to Jolina.
During Melai’s performance she was surprised seeing Elizabeth is in the audience to show her support. Half of Melai’s cash prize will be donated to her chosen charity Alay Kapwa Action Center of Diocese of Marbel.
On week 10, Maxene will transform to Vanilla Ice, Tutti to Arnel Pineda, Karla to Angela Bofill, Jolina to Celine Dion, Edgar Allan to Vice Ganda, Jay-R to Billy Crawford, Nyoy to Katy Perry, and Melai to Shirley Bassey.
