Philippine pride El Gamma Penumbra jumps to Asia’s Got Talent’s semi-finals

After being one of the finalists of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 in 2011, the shadow play dance group El Gamma Penumbra one again tried their luck as the joined the Asia’s Got Talent happening in Singapore. 16-time Grammy winner David Foster, UK pop sensation and former Spice Girl Melanie C, Indonesian rock icon Anggun, and Taiwanese-American pop idol Vanness Wu were amazed with their performance showing the story of love.

The judges gave positive response on their performance and making Anggun press the golden buzzer that ensures their slot in the semi-finals of the competition that will happen soon on Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Anggun went to the stage to embrace the members of El Gamma Penumbra. Watch the video of their performance below:

Aside from El Gamma Penumbra, Filipino performers who wow the judges include 9-year-old Echo Claridad, D’ Intensity Breakers, Miss Tres, Junior New System, Rodfil and Fe, and 10-year-old Gwyneth Dorado. Meanwhile, other golden buzzer recipient include Japanese popping act Time Machine from Vanness and Chinese acrobat-dancer couple Gao Lin and Liu Xin from Melanie C. Forter hasn’t given his golden buzzer yet
