After his long battle with lung cancer, Jam Sebastian, the half of the online Youtube sensation JaMich succumbed this morning (March 4) at 10:30am at the age of 28. The news was confirmed by his mother Maricar in Facebook. Jam was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer a year ago whereas his brother Yexel supported him in medical expenses.
Few months after, Jam was confined in the hospital where friends from the industry visited him to show support and give love to him. Celebrities include Vice Ganda, Mark Herras, Kris Aquino and many more visited him in the hospital and through their Instagram account, Michelle Liggayu, Jam’s girlfriend and the other half of JaMich tandem shared their gratitude to the people sending them love along with the updates on the condition of Jam.
Few weeks ago, Jam requested for euthanasia or mercy killing to end the pain he is enduring because of cancer but his mother refused. And last week, news said that he was now in life support and that was the time Kris visited him in the hospital. Before Jam passed away, Mich posted on her Facebook account that the family decided to not continue the medication of Jam which according to her it is very hard for her to see Jam suffering. And few hours after Jam posted the sad news on the passing of her son.
