One of the teleserye to look forward this 2015 is the Bridges of Love that stars Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales. This is the teleserye project of Maja and Jericho after the success of The Legal Wife last year with Angel Locsin. This was supposed to be the teleserye that John Lloyd Cruz will be doing but he was assigned to another project that’s why Xian Lim was selected to play the role of Carlos Antonio in the story. But before the year ended the network decided to pull out Xian for the role whereas he will be doing a teleserye with Kim Chiu but during that time it was not announced until today.
During those times after Xian was pull out from the project rumors came out regarding his performance in the taping. According to some reports, Xian was having a hard time to portraying his role and cannot catch up with Maja’s acting, which was his co-star in Ina Kapatid Anak. But ABS-CBN denied the said rumor by releasing an official statement and revealing two important things which is the KimXi project and Paulo Avelino joining the cast.
Here’s the official statement released by ABS-CBN Integrated Corporate Communications:
Due to public clamor, ABS-CBN, through the Star Creatives business unit, is bringing back the loveteam of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim in a primetime teleserye to be launched this year. Because of this development, Xian will not pursue the teleserye “Bridges of Love” with Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales. The role of Carlos Antonio in the said series will now be played by Paulo Avelino.
With this statement, viewers of ABS-CBN will not only look forward for the teleserye Bridges of Love this year but also the third tandem of Xian and Kim after My Binondo Girl and Ina Kapatid Anak on TV.
