It is official, after months of speculation and entertainment press keep on asking Jodi Sta. Maria will be doing the iconic role of Amor Powers in Pangako Sa’Yo remake on 2015, last December 2 at the ABS-CBN Trade Launch at the World Trade Center the Kapamilya Network finally revealed Jodi will be doing the role that Eula Valdes made popular in 2000 that run for 2 years. Jodi coming from a sweet and patient Maya in the recently concluded Be Careful With My Heart will be taking the revengeful role of Amor as she joined Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla who will be playing the role of Yna and Angelo respectively.
Playing a role like Amor Powers is not new to Jodi after doing the roles of Cynthia Bermudez in Walang Kapalit as a bi-polar person with an obsession to the lead star and as Ruth in Sineserye: Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara as a revengeful ghost wanted to drag her sister to death because of envy.
To be part of the Pangako Sa’Yo cast in 2015 will give Jodi a nostalgic feeling whereas in the original teleserye she played the role of Lia Buenavista a kind hearted daughter of Eduardo and Claudia that were played by Tonton Gutierrez and Jean Garcia before. But in the 2015 remake Claudia will be played by Angelica Panganiban while the actor who will be doing Eduardo was not yet revealed.
