For the followers of Paolo Bediones on his late night news program on TV 5 which is Aksyon Tonight, it has been more than 2 weeks since he is absent on the said show. This is because he is currently on a voluntary indefinite leave of absence as a news anchor of TV5. This was Paolo’s decision as the investigation of NBI continues in search for the culprit who released his scandal with unidentified woman last July and the second video few weeks after.
Early this week, there were reports that Paolo resigned as the newscaster of TV 5 but Peachy Guioguio, TV5’s Corporate Communications head, said that he is in indefinite leave on news. But his followers can still watch him in the public affairs programs including Demolition Job and Rescue5 also aired on TV5.
