After being nominated by Darla Sauler on Kris TV, Pokwang who turned 44 today accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and did it on air on Kris TV too. She became one of the regular guests of the show where she joined Kris Aquino in various out of town and country travels and also food trip. Pokwang as a comedienne never fails to brighten up her version of ALS Ice Bucket Challenge where she cared about her eye brows that might be erased because of the water.
She challenged Piolo Pascual, Paulo Avelino and Coco Martin to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in support for the awareness of the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as the Lou Gehrig’s disease that is a neurodegenerative disease with various causes where sign and symptoms include muscle spasticity, rapidly progressive weakness due to muscle atrophy, and difficulty in speaking (dysarthria), swallowing (dysphagia), and breathing (dyspnea).
