Just like Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Bill Gates of Microsoft, and Kenneth Yang of McDonald’s Philippines, the President of ABS-CBN Corporation Charo Santos Concio or simply Ate Charo for the followers of the longest drama anthology in Asia Maalaala Mo Kaya accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

She nominated Dawn Zulueta, Senator Grace Poe and Dr. Aivee Aguilar-Teo. The Ice Bucket Challenge aims to raise awareness on the ALS or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain.
