Now on its final week on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida, The Legal Wife became a strong evening TV habit for most of the Filipinos in all genders, age and status. It became one of the top-rating teleserye of ABS-CBN since it started to air on the third timeslot of the Kapamilya Networks primetime line up last January. From there, followers of the four main characters Angel Locsin, Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador and JC de Vera got themselves glued on their TV sets every night watching the intense story line, rollercoaster ride of emotions and our favorite hard hitting lines that became an instant status in social networks via Facebook and Twitter.
Aside from the hard-hitting lines, The Legal Wife ignites views and opinions of every viewers that they share on their social media which I doubt that you never see those Facebook and Twitter status on your timeline once the clock strikes at 9:15PM and will last until an hour. Their opinion varies whether they want to side to Monica (Angel), hate messages to Nicole (Maja) or advices to Adrian (Jericho) it became a habit for viewers to share their POVs in their respective accounts.
Like I mention on the title, the question is where will The Legal Wife Finale takes us? During the week-ender last Friday, June 6. Nicole will do everything just to get the love of Adrian which Monica ensured her that the annulment will push through. But in reality, Monica still has that feeling for Adrian which gives her so much pain and stopping her to move on. While Adrian doesn’t want to end his relationship with Monica. As for Max (JC), he’s just a silent person waiting for his turn to be loved by Monica. But what’s intense in the week-ender is the cliffhanger showing the accident of Adrian where Nicole furiously wanted to see him but Monica stops her with the line “she’s still the legal wife”.
Being a self-confessed avid follower of the story, I have four ideas on where will the finale takes us.
- Because of the accident, Adrian will die and Monica and Nicole will patch things up and became best friends once again.
- Adrian will still live and will choose Monica as Monica will accept him leaving the Nicole crying in the end begging for love until she moves on.
- Monica will push through with the annulment and give up Adrian and she will accept Max. While Nicole will finally have Adrian as her husband.
- The will all part ways having their own lives separately.
Last week of The Legal Wife will surely test the emotions of the viewers and also their opinions. Which I am sure expect more hard hitting lines that’s worth sharing on social media and those statuses from your friends in their Twitter and Facebook that will surely be joining the discussion with remaining episodes using those swag hashtags.
The Legal Wife is directed by Rory B. Quintos and Dado C. Lumibao and also stars Rio Locsin, Mark Gil, Christopher de Leon, Maria Isabel Lopez, Matet de Leon, Ahron Villena, Joem Bascon, Janus del Prado, and Frenchie Dy. The finale week will air on primetime bida after Ikaw Lamang.
