The long wait is over, chairs will start to turn recognize great voices from aspiring Filipino singers starting May 24 and this time it will be the kids who will show their talents to the world in The Voice of the Philippines Kids. The musical reality show will be hosted Luis Manzano and Alex Gonzaga.
Returning coaches from The Voice of the Philippines are the Broadway Diva Lea Salonga, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and OPM Rock Icon Bamboo Mañalac who will start their scout for their respective teams during the blind auditions that will start on May 24 and will serve as their mentors who will train their team as they prepare for the battle round up to the finals.
During The Voice of the Philippines, Lea and Sarah became strong contenders with their teammates Mitoy Yonting and Klarisse de Guzman. In the end Lea emerge victorious in the competition. But with the new set of contestants especially considering the age it will be a new game for the coaches. Lea who started her singing career young can she actually relate herself to them and find the right contenders for her team? As for Sarah who entered singing competition at the early age and even hosted a talent search for young singers can she find the right contenders to coach? And lastly for Bamboo will he find young rock stars who will follow his footsteps.
