As ABS-CBN brings back the phenomenal The Voice of the Philippines on Primetime TV, this time the Kapamilya network will show the great talents that Filipino kids will offer in order to reach their dreams to be a singer. Tagged as The Voice of the Philippines Kids, this franchise of The Voice will kick off on May 24 with Blind Audition with returning coaches Broadway Diva Lea Salonga, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and OPM Rock Icon Bamboo.
During the press conference of The Voice of the Philippines Kids, the OPM Rock Icon Bamboo shared that this edition is making them coaches go back on a clean slate where it is everyone’s game to select their new set of contenders that they will be bringing to the battle round and later to the grand showdown. According to Bamboo it was hard for them coaches to select which voices they will be getting at the same time convincing them to join their respective team.
Bamboo shared that he is very happy with the contenders he have in Kamp Kawayan and he is confident that the champion of The Voice of the Philippines Kids will be coming from his group. He said that he will be doing extra effort in guiding the kids in their performance along with giving them advices that will help them. He said that being coach of this edition requires them dedication and patience in guiding the kids that are very dedicated in reaching their dreams at the early age.
He said that it was fun working with the fellow coaches once again as their new journey start on May 24 as the older brother and sisters of The Voice of the Philippines Kids contenders and he firmly said that he will be giving a good fight on this edition and will be preparing with his team until the finals.
The reality talent search that will bring take us to the journey of young talented kids to the reality of their dream will be hosted by Luis Manzano with Alex Gonzaga. The Voice of the Philippines Kids will be airing on ABS-CBN starting May 24 and will be on regular programming on Saturday and Sunday evening.
