Earlier today, Department of Justice Secretary Laila de Lima announced that two alleged suspects on the mauling of the TV host and comedian Vhong Navarro last January who are Cedric Lee and Simeon Raz were arrested last Friday night at the Oras Town in Eastern Samar. Both were facing the charges of grave coercion and serious illegal detention that was filed by Navarro at the Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court.
The said information was given to de Lima by the NBI Director Virgilio Mendez at Deputy Director Rafael Ragos that the NBI authorities located the hiding area of Lee and Raz and later cornered them. Justice secretary ordered the NBI to bring the two back in Manila immediately for their arrest and to face criminal charges filled against them.
Meanwhile, NBI is still in search for the model Deniece Cornejo and other suspects who were involved of the mauling incident of Navarro.
