The long wait is finally over after the series of teasers via video and photos that ABS-CBN posted on their social media platforms, the 2014 Summer Station ID of the Kapamilya Network entitled #PINASmile will be unveiled on ASAP 19 this afternoon. The summer station ID of ABS-CBN is one of the campaigns that Kapamilyas around the world look forward to every summer aside from the Christmas Station ID that became everyone’s inspiration on Holiday Season.
Performed by the Teen King and Queen of ABS-CBN, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo the theme song focuses on what made us smile despite of the hardships and challenges in life. At the same time making ourselves happy because of the beautiful things and unforgettable adventures that summer offers us. There will be series of scenes showing the stories of individuals giving us inspiration that will touch our hearts and make us smile upon watching the SID.
There are also shots of undiscovered places like Batanes that is worth visiting this summer that will help our tourism. And lastly the unity of every Filipino during the calamity and as one nation how we did stood up especially for the places in Tacloban, Bohol and Cebu.
The ABS-CBN Summer Station ID #PINASmile will be our kick off as Kapamilyas welcoming the beauty and challenges of summer.
The SID features celebrities and personalities of the Kapamilya network headed by the ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio followed by Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu, Julia Montes, Enchong Dee, Maja Salvador, Erich Gonzales, Xian Lim, Lea Salonga, Vice Ganda, Sarah Geronimo, Nash Aguas, JC de Vera, Paulo Avelino, Enrique Gil, Pokwang, Julia Barretto, Jed Madela, Yeng Constantino, Pokwang, John Lloyd Cruz and many more.
