Few days after the preliminary investigation of the Department of Justice on the mauling issue that concerns comedian and TV host Vhong Navarro and model Deniece Cornejo with friend businessman Cedric Lee, Cornejo and Lee’s spokesperson Attorney Raymund Fortun resigned on his position just today and the announcement was done at Buzz Ng Bayan through an official statement that Boy Abunda read in the live show.
Before Atty. Fortun’s resignation, Buzz ng Bayan had the chance to interview him regarding the latest CCTV footage that was released by the National Bureau of Invetigation (NBI) where it showed that on January 23 that Cornejo and Cedric together with some friends arrived to the condominium in Taguig City after bringing Vhong in the Sucat Paranaque Police District at the elevator, Cedric kissed Deniece twice. With this footage, followers of this issue concluded that the two has a secret relationship but earlier during their interview they denied that allegations that they are lovers but only friends.
Fortun on his interview with Buzz ng Bayan confirmed that the two were just friends and denied another allegation that Cedric’s sister Bernice doesn’t have a special relationship with Deniece.
