Last January 7 at the Grand Press Conference of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s second movie together Bride For Rent under Star Cinema there was a member of the entertainment press who wanted to clarify the current status of the relationship of the two lead stars of the film. Kim replied with the statement of “we don’t owe you any of our personal lives. You can think whatever you want to think as long as you’re happy when you watch us on TV, nakikita niyo kung paano kami ma-inlove, ganyan. And ‘yun na ‘yon.” From that question same member of the entertainment press gave their opinion on the actress reply and later included the information that the reported who asked the said question walked out and threw something as she left the Dolphy Theater.

From that incident, Kim Chiu hasn’t given her statement and remained quiet about it until last Jan 8 in the blogger’s conference of Bride for Rent she was asked to give her side. Kim said that she very sorry for what happen and she already apologized to the reported. “Siguro na mis-interpret lang. Siguro may mga bagay na kapag inuulit-ulit… Ikaw, kapag tinanong kita nang paulit-ulit tapos ang sagot ko ulit-ulit din. Magagalit ka kasi ulit-ulit lang rin ‘yung sagot ko.” Kim explained. She also clarified that no one walked out in the presscon including the reporter.
