Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo gave all their best for their 2013 MMFF entry

From being part of the box office film for the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival Sisterkas, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo or popularly known as the phenomenal loveteam KathNiel will be returning to the film festival as the lead actors of the horror film of Star Cinema entitled Pagpag Siyam na Buhay. The film marks the return of Regal Film to partner with Star Cinema for so long.

Directed by Frasco Mortiz, Pagpag Siyam na Buhay also stars Matet de Leon, Paulo Avelino, Shaina Magdayao, CJ Navato, Dominic Roque, Miles Ocampo, and Michelle Vito. During the short interview of Daniel and Kathryn they shared that it was a great opportunity for them that their film will be included to the 2013 MMFF. It was a very challenging film for them because it was their first time to do horror film together which they are known for the romantic comedy prjects like Princess and I, Must Be Love and Got To Believe.

Pagpag Siyam na Buhay will be competing with other 2013 MMFF entries including Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy, 10,000 Hours, Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel, My Little Bossings, Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir, Kaleidoscope World and Boy Golden. All films will be showing in all cinemas starting Christmas Day.
