KFC Philippines releases Buckets of Love to raise World Hunger Relief funds for World Food Programme

For more than 6 years in supporting World Food Programme in their school feeding program in disaster prone and conflict affected areas in Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte,  KFC Philippines launches the Buckets of Love where for every purchase Php 5 will be donated to WFP. The Buckets of Love is an 8-piece chicken bucket meal that it is worth the share to friends and family members. Aside from the Buckets of Love there’s the 1-piece Crispy Butter Chicken meal where for every purchase Php 1 will be donated to WFP.  

The campaign will run from November 2013 to January 2014 within the World Hunger Relief campaign of Yum Brands in support of WFP.  Last year, KFC Philippines has provided over 750, 000 school meals to more than 100, 000 school provinces in Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte. With this campaign the students can focus on their studies rather than their stomachs that a hungry.

Together with KFC, sister company of Yum Brands including Pizza Hut and Taco Bell are working on their respective fund raising efforts for the World Hunger Relief campaign that will help provide students in disaster prone and conflict affected areas in Mindanao through the efforts of World Food Programme in their Philippine office.
