Aside from the official full trailer of Maria Mercedes, ABS-CBN also releases the music video with Jessy Mendiola the lead actress of the show singing the theme song. The music video gives highlight on what to expect on the Philippine remake of Maria Mercedes that will be airing on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida starting October 7. The teleserye also stars Jake Cuenca, Jason Abalos, Nikki Gil, Vina Morales, Ariel Rivera, Nadya Montegro, Atoy Co, Vivian Velez, Devon Seron and Yogo Signj under the direction of Chito Roño.
Jake will be playing the character of Luis while Nikki will be Mystica. Vina will be Magnolia, Ariel as Santiago, Vivian as Malvina, Devon as Rosario and Yogo will be Andres. The character of Jason which is Clavio will have a bigger role in the Philippine remake to make the story exciting because he has also feeling for Maria Mercedes. The Maria Mercedes music video had its premiere first on online and will start airing on ABS-CBN together with the full trailer starting September 23 most especially in the sign off of the network.
