Before ASAP 18 early this afternoon, ABS-CBN unveils the official trailer the Philippine remake of hit Mexican series Maria Mercedes that will be airing on Primetime Bida starting October 7. Coming from the Mexican superstar Thalia that touches our heart in 1996, Jessy Mendiola will be portraying the role of the Pinay Maria Mercedes with Jake Cuence as Luis and Jason Abalos as Clavio. The teleserye was directed by the box office directed Chito Roño.
The Philippine remake of Maria Mercedes is part of the 60 years offering of ABS-CBN where as the teleserye will immediately aired after the 2-day Kapamilya weekend party in celebration of the network’s anniversary. The teleserye offers a Filipino touch that showcases the love for family and fulfilling the dreams and goals in life from all the challenges and hardships.
Maria Mercedes also stars Nikki Gil, Vina Morales, Vivian Velez, Ariel Rivera, Nadya Montenegro, Atoy Co, Devon Seron, and Yogo Signj. Airing on Primetime Bida starting October 7.
