Airing soon on ABS-CBN, the first teaser of Maria Mercedes was released within Got To Believe last night that gives everyone the excitement on the last Maria trilogy that will be adopted in the Philippine television. Jessy Mendiola who will be playing the lead role as the Pinay Maria Mercedes in the red iconic dress showed some moves in the 15-second teaser last night ending it with the Si Señor line.
Jessy is the only Pinay Maria trilogy actress that had the chance to have a face to face with the Mexican Superstar Thalia who did the role in the 90s even on Skype during the show of Tapatan ni Tunying late August. Other Maria trilogy adaptation actresses include Marian Rivera for Marimar and Erich Gonzales for Maria La Del Barrio. Marimar is known to be the young lady wearing the floral dress living beside the sea while Maria La Del Barrio is known with the character living in the slum with her black crown.
