From 127 candidates from all over the world to join Miss World 2013 in Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia – a Filipina in the personality of Megan Young will be going home in her country victorious as she won the coveted title. Megan who is a model and an artist of the Star Magic, an artist center of ABS-CBN network in the Philippines became popular not only among her fellow Filipinos but also with the rest of the world who tuned in to all the challenges of Miss World 2013 where she bagged the Top Model title.
Joining her in her success is Ms. France Marine Lorphelin for First Princess and Ms. Ghana Carranzar Shooter for Second Princess.
The 63rd Year of Miss World that happened in Indonesia and didn’t have swimsuit category but they had Beach Fashion event that features the Balinese Beach Fabric in respect for the bigger population of the Muslims in Indonesia who protested in the beauty pageant.
Megan Young is the first Filipina to win Ms. World where as Philippines bagged 2 1st Princess title a 1 2nd princess title in the competition.
