From the success of 300 in 2006, Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Pictures bring the prequel of the film on the big screen entitled 300: Rise of an Empire on March 2014. 300: Rise of an Empire narrates the story on how become Xerxes win all his battles and became the feared “god King”. Starring Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Hans Matheson, Lena Headey and Rodrigo Santoro, the film is directed by Noam Murro.
300: Rise of an Empire is based from Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes covering the new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield now on the sea with the Greek general Themistokles (Stapleton) who attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. Their enemies are the Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Santoro), and Artemesia (Green) the vengeful commander of the Persian navy.

The film was written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad and will be available on 3D and regular format. It will be open on March 2014 under the distribution of Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
